pleasant stay with excellent breakfast views
The breakfast room offers stunning views of the sea, making mornings enjoyable. The staff members are friendly and attentive, which greatly enhanced our experience during our one-night stay.
The pillows in our budget double room were not comfortable.

Spacious dining area with plenty of room for meals comfortably laid out and a breakfast spread that includes fruits, cereals, and hot options. Proximity to various local restaurants provides plenty of choices for dinner.
Upon entering, the back area feels neglected and offers a not-so-pleasant first impression. Carpets seem worn and carried a lingering scent that wasn’t very welcoming. Shower lacked clear instructions and essentials like a mat. The heating situation was poor, leaving common areas rather chilly, which might not sit well with guests in the winter months.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful sea view from our twin room, and the comfy beds made for restful nights. The lovely terrace and refreshing pool were perfect spots to relax and unwind after a day out. Only minor issue was the breakfast prices seemed a bit steep, but there are plenty of cute cafes nearby! 🌊

We had a lovely three-night stay and really enjoyed the delicious cooked-to-order breakfast every morning and the cozy bar area for evening drinks. The hotel offers great relaxation options like a quaint pool and a well-kept garden, which we took full advantage of. The only hiccup was the shower, which was a bit snug, but that didn't take away from our overall experience! 😄

I spent two nights at the Beacon in Exmouth. The sea view room was comfortable, and I appreciated the stunning views. Breakfast exceeded my expectations with excellent quality, and the staff in the dining area were generally helpful. the room definitely needed some TLC. The bathroom was outdated and poorly maintained. The pink suite felt old-fashioned, and there were cleanliness issues, including mold around the bath. Noise from the neighboring room kept me up at night, making it hard to relax. On our second day, breakfast service was chaotic, with multiple errors in orders. I had to send my fried eggs back twice. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which affected the dining experience. Parking was another challenge. while I found a space on the street later in my stay, it was tough on the first day. I don’t think I’d return.

I loved the stunning sea views from my room! Waking up to the beautiful River Exe Estuary each morning was a dream come true. The hot cooked breakfast was also a highlight, with friendly service and plenty of options to fill my belly.
